SPUNKY'S	MIRACLE

Spunky was our pet Albino Budgie (misnamed and known as Parakeets); from when I was 5 years old until I was 12.

When Spunky was a year old she laid an egg. At first my Mom thought it was a marble, until we examined it to find that it was really an egg! Spunky treasured her egg and took very good care of it. She rolled it into a corner of the cage and sat on it faithfully for a week, until somehow it got broken and she ate a little bit of it. She got salmonella. We took her to the vet, but there was nothing they could do for her. She was dyeing. She lay on the bottom of the cage gasping for air. We brought her back home for a different kind of healing!!!

We called the leader of the Good News Club and missionary, Mrs. Sherburn. We knew that Miracles had happened for her own pets when she had prayed for them. We explained the situation, and Mrs. Sherburn prayed for Spunky. And right in the middle of her prayer Spunky, scrambled to her feet, looked around as if to say, "How'd I get down here?", hopped up onto the perch, and started eating!!!!! She was Healed, Instantly!!!!!

We thanked Mrs. Sherburn. My Mother started crying, which I didn't understand.

"Mommy, why are you crying?"

"For Joy! Because God Healed Spunky"

"But didn't you Know He would? Why else would we Pray???"

She started crying even more and hugged me to her. "Oh, to have the Faith of a Child! I hope and pray that you never loose it!"
